Essential Functions of the Job:

Essential Duties:
Generate and review delinquency reports from property management software and track tenants with past due rents.; Contact tenants with past due rents to follow up on the status of past due rent payments, work with tenants on repayment agreements and refer tenants to Tenant Services for information on rental assistance.; Track payments for repayment agreements and report the status of repayments.; Conducts custom collection efforts for each tenant that consist of emails, phone calls, standard mail correspondence, and appointments at properties.; Meet with tenants to review account balances, delinquency history, and any topic related to the tenant’s ability to meet the financial obligations of their lease agreement and to establish relationships between property management and tenants.; Develops collections methods that consistently lead to achieving or exceeding company financial goals.; Communicates tenant rent collection efforts to Property Managers and Tenant Services.; Research tenant rent ledgers using property management software and works with the Associate Director of Finance and Systems to correct tenant rent ledger discrepancies.; Participates in monthly staff rent collection meetings and compiles necessary data to support efforts of the collective group.;
Coordinate and communicate with Project Analyst regarding rental assistance and/or rent collection-related matters.; Performs other job duties as required.

What I did today

Today was my first day of CTT. I watched a presentation about the orientation for the training. I set up a new Chrome Profile with bookmarks and extensions. I used LastPass for the first time to save my passwords and to get practice using a password vault.

What I did today

Today was my first day of the Computer Technician Training course. We went through the Core orientation, and then we learned how to create a new Chrome profile. I practiced using bookmark folders and adding new extensions.

What I did today (GPT)

Today was a productive day as I tackled a few tasks to improve my online presence. Firstly, I created a new Slack account to communicate better with my team. I also signed up for two new platforms, Homebase and ChatGPT, to help streamline my work and increase productivity.

In addition, I created a new Google profile to ensure all my online accounts are consistent and easy to manage. I also took some time to set up useful browser extensions and bookmarks, which will save me time and effort in the long run.

Lastly, I wrote our first daily blog post on WordPress, which was a great way to end the day. It’s exciting to see my progress and I look forward to the next steps in my journey. Overall, it was a busy but rewarding day.

Core Graduation June 1st 2023

Graduation for all core participant (afternoon class, CTT and PRO) who have finished before this date will be June 1st 2023 at 6:00pm. Staff will be in touch with you to help you register, and you are welcome to bring guests. The event will be held via Zoom. Looking forward to seeing you for the event and congratulations!

What I did today

The session started with typing practice. Then I worked on completing the CTT Orientation and Setup Labs. I continued to configure my browser and added more bookmarks for the training. Later, I listened to a lecture about Computer Networking. Then I practiced creating a network diagram on my own using something called the Network Building Block. Overall, today was a busy day and it felt very productive.
