Today was another slow, quiet day. I miss the workshops I was doing with Jose before the winter break. Right now we’re doing a lot of things that I’m very familiar with. Hopefully Friday will make this week worthwhile.

Today we worked on individual presentations for a fictitious business by the name of POW. I will be presenting my presentation to the class tomorrow. That’s all.

Didn’t really do much in class today and I’m a little disappointed. Much of this first class after the winter break was meant to be geared up around orientation for newer folks but in reality the majority of the class just spent a lot of time just looking at their cameras. I’m more than a …

I completed another module in Skillsoft outside of class time and shared my article in CTT group. Other than this we did scenarios wherein we roleplayed upset customer situations. Within 10 minutes we’ll be watching presentations of people moving on to SJS.

Class today was okay. We practiced phone systems and scripts. It all reminded me of when I worked at Yelp and that was kinda fun. Otherwise we did some development of email signatures and worked on how to craft informal vs. formal emails.

I set up MicroSIP on my computer and dealt with a ton of computer lag. Also took another independent challenge and did mostly okay with that. Only failed to provide one formula, but everything else was straightforward.

Today I worked on my resume a little, made some tweaks to my accommodation letter, updated my LinkedIn profile, and joined the group in answering question prompts with Carrie. Productive day overall. Looking forward to locking down a part-time role for myself. It’s only a matter of time…

Learned a ton today. Had a great meeting with Devin and Carrie and am feeling very confident in how I’m doing in this program. Also did some more Precipio benchmarking and am feeling better about what I know about data analysis and general technology skills, so that has me feeling pretty good as well. Onwards …
