Today I finished my single layer network and began working on a 2-layer network, which is a local network WITHIN a local network, which will be great practice learning how to configure routers and hosts. This was most of the day and I do not have much to write, still a productive day.

What I did today
Today, I began to work on my networking project in an attempt to create a virtual local network to gain an understanding of network fundamentals. I have a lot to learn as I am struggling with the concept but still very eager to figure out this puzzle of connections.

Today, I continued to hone my skills as an active job seeker, learning the importance of practice to refine my skills. I learned about the STAR method when answering interview questions that ask for a story.
What I learned today
Today I learned how much I truly enjoy technology, how great it feels to talk to other tech enthusiasts about tech. I also finished setting up a network connecting my two VMs, or at least I believe I finished.

Today I learned some fundamentals of networking, such as IP addresses, Subnets, and gateways. I feel like I truly learned something, although my brain is truly overwhelmed with the volume of information. I am enjoying the challenge that this class has brought to me.
What I did today
Today I continued to work on the “Project Inception” lab and took the skills benchmark test, which made me realize I have a lot of room for growth.
What I learned today
Today I learned that being confident in my capabilities is important. I also learned that we will be practicing professional skills each Friday, such as drafting resumes and cover letters, and practicing with mock interviews.

Today I used a new Hypervisor, which is an application used to run VMs (Virtual Machines), and created two VMs using different Linux OS

Today, we took a more in-depth look at the ticketing system and began the Project Inception Phase 2 lab. In this lab, we downloaded several VMs and learned to clone and run them simultaneously. The main takeaway is: Take Notes.
What I did today.
I learned a whole lot today, including how to be proficient with google calendars and the importance of taking notes. I managed set up my homebase and slack account, in addition to connecting to a remote desktop. On top of all this, I made my first post on here!
