Today I did some writing about CTP and its partner organizations. I was very interested to learn about CTP’s origins and how it has evolved to its current status. I completed additional entries to the Reentry Resource List and entered more job postings, all of which have full benefits, decent salaries, and are in-person. I’m beginning to notice more in-person positions with great wages and full benefits, which gives me pause because I prefer to work from home.

I learned from my job search research that next-level customer service skills combined with intermediate computer skills equal a terrific salary and benefits. I also began my next project researching CTP partners and writing about them. Turns out that Berkeley, CA is the mecca and epicenter for the disability rights movement.

These job postings were not the average customer service or admin positions; they mentioned a need for creativity and creative problem-solving. The ability to think outside the box was appreciated. I also completed additional entries to the Reentry Resource List. I finished the numeric entries for the survey and received my next assignment.

In today’s job postings, I focused on next-level positions. There are two executive assistant-type positions and (one) 1 government position. They all have four things in common: excellent salary, and great benefits, and both require excellent verbal/written communication skills, flexibility, and multi-tasking. These are all next-level admin skills. I also added several entries to the Resource Reentry list and I added more numerics to the survey.

I also completed more entries to the Reentry Resource List and added more numeric information to the Survey. It appears that both of these tasks, among other things, are good data entry experiences.
