CAM Educational Services, a fast-growing educational startup serving families and school districts across California, is seeking a dynamic Tech & STEAM Instructor to join our Millbrae team. We provide innovative after-school tutoring and enrichment programs focused on technology and STEAM education.
Responsibilities:
- Lead engaging STEAM classes for K–8 students (up to 20+ per class)
- Teach subjects such as robotics (VEX), 3D modeling/printing, coding (block-based, Python, JavaScript, HTML/CSS), game design, esports, and Minecraft modding
- Support curriculum development, including lesson plans for school year and camps
- Assist in managing classrooms, materials, and program operations
- Collaborate with staff, communicate with parents, and maintain a positive learning environment
- Travel to nearby program sites (Buena Park & Fullerton) as needed
Qualifications:
- 2+ years experience teaching or tutoring children (TK–8 preferred)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Background in Computer Science, Education, or related field (AA or Bachelor’s preferred)
- Passion for STEAM education and working with youth
- Availability to work 4–6 days per week
