We are a locally owned IT company in Santa Rosa seeking an experienced Field/Onsite Support Technician to join our team. This role supports clients both onsite and remotely, providing technical assistance with Windows systems, servers, networking, and business applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide onsite, remote, and phone-based end-user support
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software
- Support servers, PCs, networking, and software integration
- Maintain documentation and tickets in AutoTask
- Configure network users and assist with IT projects
- Research and recommend new technologies
- Minimum 2 years of IT support experience or equivalent education( NOT REQUIRED)
- Experience with Windows 7+, Microsoft Server OS, and Office 365 administration
- Strong troubleshooting and remote support skills
- Experience with cable running and termination
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to independently manage issues through resolution
- Clean DMV record
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies, routers, switches, VPNs, DHCP, DNS, NAT, and subnetting
- Experience with macOS and Chrome OS
- Familiarity with Active Directory, domains, and server migrations
- MSP or multi-tenant support experience
