I had two great interviews; some of the positive feedback included: the interviewer appreciating the following: the depth of my experience; the way I communicate with professionalism and confidence; my leadership approach and genuine empathy, passion for community building, collaboration and developing trust. How people centric I am and that I have the ability to reflect on leadership styles and genuinely embrace professional growth; that I’m a very intentional leader, that I’ve gained a lot of wisdom for the roles I’ve held and institutions across nonprofit and for profit organizations and in a variety of industries: health care, banking and community building. Also a skill the interviewer commented on was that I communicate ideas, clearly, authentically and professionally.
The interviewers (Mely Navarro and Jacqueline Arreola- Muniz) and I really enjoyed the experience interviewing today. I really appreciated their kind and encouraging manner throughout the interview. Mely thought I would be a great fit for an position open they have in the new Oakland office! I learned a lot in the interview and appreciated that they asked new questions that challenged me. Some of the questions were the same as last week and I felt much more relaxed answering them. It’s been great to utilize the rubrics for interview preparation and have interview practice.
