Today I worked on a spreadsheet assignment with a classmate and my instructors. We took turns as being employees signing each other up as members of a gym and for gym member services. I enjoyed this exercise while learning more about spreadsheets.

What I Did Today?
I was setting up Drive Imaging with Acronis True Image to help with the computer system.
I Learned Disk Imaging Today
Today, I learned how to use Acronis True Image for drive imaging and recovery. Drive imaging is the process of creating a full copy of a hard drive, including the operating system, files, and configuration, which can be used to restore or set up other systems quickly. I created a virtual machine (VM), configured it with Windows 10, and restored a non-sysprepped image from a .tib file stored on a network. Using the Acronis recovery tool, I successfully imaged the VM, and verified the system. This process demonstrated the power of imaging for efficient system restoration and deployment.

What I Did Today
Today I spent the first hour or so working on job listing summaries to post to CTP’s skill center page. Once I got going, I felt comfortable with progress, and then I switched to practicing my typing speed for my professional skills development goals. This time, I seemed to type at a slower speed than last time, but I wasn’t feeling as focused as usual, so I’m just happy it wasn’t significantly low. After that, I switched to looking at CTP Alumni names and searching for matching profiles on LinkedIn. I wasn’t able to find any today, but I offhandedly mentioned a musing I had about the years that were popping up in my searches, and I ended up talking to Alex about it as a potential research project idea, so we will be discussing that tomorrow. I spent the rest of the time doing research into company ERG’s, B-Corps, and rehabilitation centers, as potential candidates for CTP partnership outreach. I found a least a few new rehab centers to add to the list, and the resource I was using as a directory still has many more. Tomorrow I will be finishing my 2nd set of AWEX hours.
