Today class was how to start the job search.
Worked on question and answers for a job interviews. Then we as a group answer mock job interview question. I learn how to answer some tough question like Explain the gap in your work history.
It was interesting to hear how others answer similar questions.
We worked on Employment Service. STILL locked out on LinkedIn and unfortunately haven’t been able to login as ALL the emails provided.

Today was good overall. I loved the interaction and questions we had over the entire class.

Today was employment services, we did some ice breakers and worked on our resume/linkedin profiles. Then answered mock interview questions.
Typing tests.
Didn’t get to do the extra credit label thing for the Event… Might do it anyway since I want to know how.

Started my BerkMart Slideshow and having fun… probably “too much fun”… think that’s it
First part of todays class we continue our Project inception phase two lab. I successfully install the two virtual Machines on the Virtual box.
We learn the proper way to report our hours from Skillsoft
We the had a weekly tech. Presentation on the discover of a new plant (Planet X or Planet 9) it was very interesting
The rest of class we start phase 3 of Project inception.
It has been a great first week of learning.
Today I practiced typing, and then I finished up my BerkMart event project while everyone was doing their BerkMart conference Google Slides project. I feel that doing the spreadsheet with the BerkMart event project is giving me an idea on how to count the number of attendees, their flights, and the vegetarians and non-vegetarians. After finishing up the BerkMart event project, I started to do the BerkMart conference slides project. I feel like this one is definitely going to be a challenge to do on my own.
I continued working on job postings and today I focused on Craigslist for my research. I was surprised and the amount of really cool and unique opportunities I found for Customer Service and Administrative Assistant positions.
I have a favorite though for today – it was a toss up between a Personal Assistant position to a best selling author and a Front Desk Receptionist at a “cat spa” of all things.
Fur Cat’s Sake was the winner!! I’m a cat lover but I’ve never heard of a cat spa & grooming boutique. It made me smile!!
Today was a very standard day in relation to what I have been doing for the past weeks. I was kinda shocked that we didn’t start the weekly phone assignment. Another thing I didn’t realize till today was some specifics in our new tagging instructions. I only glanced at the new steps before today, since it was already passed my time to put those steps into practices that day. I didn’t realize that we had only 3 options for a job type we would tag on positions we posted. However, It seems like we will have an update to this system soon.
