What I Did Today

I posted 3 job listings in my 1st hour. Afterward, I continued to add entries to a list of organizations that provide emergency food. Like last week, I found 2 entries today. I hoped to find more, but I mostly found services with sparse information, or the food not being free unless you’re in college.

What I did today

Today we started on project inception. We learned how to create virtual machines on a new program through remote desktop connection. We went over the basics of computer networking. We learned the different IP address formats and which IP address are public or private. We learned The difference between LAN and WAN and how a router is used to communicate between the two.

What I Did Today

I practiced typing for the first 15 minutes. I’m holding steady at 55-59 wpm. I can’t seem to break 60 wpm so I’m setting a goal for myself for end of the week … I WILL break the 60 wpm threshold.

I worked on my elective and I chose the “Art Research” project. I am having a blast with it and, so far, I think it’s coming out nicely.

What I Did Today

I love this job. Having something to do, to feel like I’m contributing to others is amazing. Today I shared 13 job posts and a job fair in the first hour, and then added 12 new locations to the food bank list. Great start to the week!
