What I Did Today

– Skillsoft coworking went really well. I’ve almost done more this week than in the previous 3. Really glad I asked for this accommodation.
– Phonecall scripts
— I try to have unobtrusive fun where I can in this course.
— Jose really committed to the bit in his voicemail message.
— setting the line spacing to 1.15 for written scripts makes them read way smoother for some reason
– More skillsoft time
— Finished another lecture. No wonder terminal nerds like linux. The commands are way more intuitive than either mac or windows.
— Tests are kind of poorly written for actually gauging understanding though.
— Very happy with my ability to intuit commands that I don’t specifically remember.
— Bring online, initialize, partition, format.
– United Business Bank research
— exceedingly hard to find anything? Much harder than Mechanics Bank. They seem like the most normal smallish bank that has ever existed.

What I Did Today

I practiced typing from 2 – 2:15 and almost broke the 60 wpm mark. With more practice I know I’ll get there.

I practiced 4 different scenarios using the 3CX phone system – 1)calling off. 2)letting customers know of my new phone number. 3)customer complaint. 4)BerkMart Memorial Day sale

I recorded my VM greeting as BerkMart Director of Customer Service, Northern California.

What I Did Today

Today, I worked on and recorded my portfolio for SJS. It took some time to get everything just right, but I’m glad to have made progress on it. I also listened to an instructional video on good company phone manners, which gave me some useful tips on professional communication. Overall, a productive day!

What I Did Today

Today I picked up from yesterday when I had to leave early, and I emailed Carrie about a concrete suggestion to improve workflow for one of the tasks. I then continued with the usual start to my day by posting job listings to CTP’s skill center page. Next I worked on researching alumni profiles without much success, and then I moved on to rehab center research for hospitals that are viable as potential partners. I then monitored and participated in a study hall session with one of the CTP participants, and I was happy to report that it went well and that we both stayed productive during the hour. Finally, I updated the DEI spreadsheet with all the new entities that were added since last week. I felt pretty productive today, and will be able to report for check-in tomorrow.
