What I Did Today

Today I learned how to work with mail merger. It was for the Donor letter project. I started with editing a list on google sheets. Then, I edited a letter. Eventually, with step by step help I was able to merge the letter with the information and names on the spread sheet. I think mail merger is a useful tool for handing out individual business letters, invitations or any documents that have to be sent out to multiple individuals.

What I Did Today

Today I started out with some job postings for the students. I then transitioned to the Dress for Success project, making some slight adjustments before our presentation to Carrie. It went REALLY well, and I’m very excited to see what the rest of the staff thinks. I had a great time working with Lena, and I hope we get to work together again in the future!

What I Did Today

I posted jobs to the CTP job board. I also met with Carrie and Austin to review the Dress For Success project Austin and I have worked on for the past couple of weeks. It was a very rewarding work assignment. I had a chance to work on the ERG Collaboration project, my favorite assignment.

What I Did Today

Today we did our tech article presentations and we had an extended discussion about security and robotics and quantum computing. Then I got started on the Advanced Lab for this week since I had already finished the Required Lab. There was a lot of confusion with the Clonezilla software to access the network files, but we worked through it together and I managed to finish that part of the lab just in time for the end of class.

What I did today

Today we went over tech articles for the first part of the session and during that, I had a check-in with Devin and Carrie and we went over how my first month went. After I went back and presented my tech article. After the tech articles, I went on to work on the Disk Imaging lab for the rest of the session.
