What I Did Today

Today I began by finding job listings to post to CTP’s skill center page for program graduates. I then moved on to working on the new task Jose assigned to me yesterday, which is recording a video guide to go along with the written guide as an introduction to Google Sheets. This guide would cover the basics and would be for training, such as Computer Skills Bootcamp. Today I focused on recording things in small pieces, and creating a script along the way. During my 3rd hour, I started my usually study meet with a program participant. They were feeling a little under the weather, but we were still able to keep each other company and stay accountable, so both they and I were able to be productive. Tomorrow I would like to get the first draft of the video finished, but I won’t push too hard to get it done by then.

What I Did Today

In addition to finding and sharing many job listings, I also found 2 job fairs. Hopefully fellow job seekers can find a great new vocation. I spent extra time on the food bank list, finishing up some resources I had found. I finished off 3 counties! I ended my shift with DEI companies, adding several more companies to the database. Wonderful day!
