What I Did Today

Another great week. I started off with sharing 16 job possibilities to the board. I researched and added 7 new food pantry locations to the food bank list. And I finished my day with working on the dei list.

What I Did Today

Today I started by finding and posting 3 job listings to CTP’s skill center page. I was mostly able to find customer service representative jobs at the entry level, and they had minimal qualification requirements. Next, I checked the DEI watch page to see if any new companies needed to be added or removed from the DEI sheet. I only found one new company to add to the sheet, but there were none that needed to be removed. Afterward, I checked in with Jose about the recent task of checking course lectures and course material for SkillSoft on their new platform, but it seems like there wasn’t any immediate new ones to look at in the short term, as much of the course material hasn’t been updated yet. We discussed briefly what material should be prioritized for CTT participants, but didn’t draw any conclusions yet. After this, I worked on rehabilitation center research. The goal was to find potential CTP partners and focus on adding contact links for company outreach. I continued down the list of existing entries on the sheet to add new links and contact info, and I also scrutinized the listings to make sure a partnership with CTP seemed appropriate and within scope. Overall, I’m happy with my progress this week.
