Today Mike assisted me in arranging time to focus on Skillsoft courses.
Today we set up a web server and started creating a basic HTML website. First I had to recreate my Debian VM because I didnt install Apache originally but that was no trouble. I am somewhat familiar with Linux at this point so SSH’ing into the VM and navigating around the terminal was easy. However when it came to modifying the webpage I am having a difficult time because I have no prior experience with HTML and I am not a very creative type so coming up with website design is not my forte.
Today I worked on my elective and accountability assignment because I completed the Salesforce CRM Introduction yesterday. For my elective, I looked up information, entered data on a spreadsheet, and double-checked my work. I also highlighted the cheapest price throughout the spreadsheet. Later, I started reading and working on the accountability assignment.
I learned more about HTML, I am learning how to make a website using HTML, and more about coding, I’m starting to use the virtual machine more, and today I started using the terminal as well.
3/12/24 Today I worked on CRM project i accutaly gotten somewhere today with out help =)
Today we started our day with typing practice. Then, I resumed working on yesterday’s project on Salesforce; trying to find where I went wrong. This was not a fun project, but with both the instructor’s help and lots of going over the instructions again and again and again, the project was finally able to get completed! Whew!! Each lesson I go through I do learn more. I did learn; that I do not want to be a CRM. That was my conclusion at this time. Thankful to move on to work on our electives for this week. Another challenging day, but not without a victory! Yay
Today I worked on getting up those job postings. There are a lot of listings and it helps me to learn how to speed up the information I need to absorb on any page I am browsing. I also listed some of the listings on the graduation project in their proper line numbers. I used the time I had left to study some SkilSoft. I am Working on Google Sheets.
