Today, I took a 15-minute typing test, set up our virtual phones, and conducted a test of Zoom, Google Docs, and Google Sheets. At first, I had a hard time with the Google Sheets test part, but thanks to Marc’s guidance, I was able to finish it. I’m having an amazing day!

Today in class, we worked on our independent challenge. Once I was done with that, I worked on my percipio and my accountability assignment. Once I was done with all those things, I worked on my “What I did today.”

I set up MicroSIP on my computer and dealt with a ton of computer lag. Also took another independent challenge and did mostly okay with that. Only failed to provide one formula, but everything else was straightforward.

Today in Employment Services, Carrie went over information about watching out for job scams, which I found very helpful. After that, we worked in the Professional Documents Lab, and I spent time working on my cover letter. After the break, we practiced interview questions with Carrie, which helped me feel more comfortable answering them. We …

Today, I watched a presentation on job scams and how to avoid them. Then I worked on professional documents like my cover letter and my interview questions. Finally, I worked on my interview questions with my co-workers.

Today in class I worked on my interview questions. We reviewed them together as a class, and to finish class, we did our assessments and what we did today.

Today I worked on my resume a little, made some tweaks to my accommodation letter, updated my LinkedIn profile, and joined the group in answering question prompts with Carrie. Productive day overall. Looking forward to locking down a part-time role for myself. It’s only a matter of time…

Today I worked on my Job log, my cover letter, and my accommodations letter. Today we worked on interview questions, and I feel I did a decent job until the last question.

Today I learned how to spot a scam/fraudulent job listing, to be extra cautious when looking, and that if a listing seems too good to be true, it probably is! In addition, I learned the importance of setting a reminder to clock in at the start of each day.
