The Customer Service Coordinator provides on-site support for the Transfer Center by coordinating patient referrals and transportation requests while delivering exceptional service to both internal and external customers. This role maintains a calm, professional demeanor and communicates clearly in both verbal and written formats. The coordinator develops strong familiarity with the Santa Clara service area and ensures full compliance with company and customer policies related to patient transport and referral coordination.
Responsibilities include operating a multiline phone system and computer terminal, documenting all interactions in a computer-aided dispatch (CAD) program, and collaborating closely with Transfer Center staff, case management, nursing teams, and area-specific dispatchers. The position also monitors crew and patient safety through GPS tracking, communicates updates and resource needs, identifies process improvements, and performs additional duties as assigned while effectively working both independently and as part of a team.
Listed pay is: $25 and $28 an hour.
