Amerit Fleet Solutions is seeking an experienced Fleet Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repair work on light- to medium-duty fleet vehicles. Responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, completing safety inspections, documenting repairs, maintaining a clean work area, and supporting fleet operations while following company safety procedures.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of diesel and automotive repair experience (NOT REQUIRED)
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to provide and maintain personal tools/toolbox
- Able to work independently and within a team environment
- Must pass pre-employment screening, including drug screen and DOT physical if required
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This role involves working in shop, outdoor, and mobile environments with exposure to diesel fumes, noise, oils, and grease. Candidates should be comfortable standing, walking, bending, climbing, lifting heavy objects, working in confined spaces, and operating tools and equipment in varying weather conditions.
