Today’s assignment, the WordPress Bio was simple and straightforward, but it was new. I had to take an improvised picture for my bio, which was to be completed as if I were a Customer Service Representative at Power of Wellness. This was a valuable experience working on WordPress for something other than our normal blog posts.
In the middle of the day, Jose put me in a breakout room with other students who needed to install and setup the MicroSIP application for VOIP interface and simulated phone call activities. It went smoothly, however by the end of the day, I had so many Power of Wellness tabs open that my computer started running slowly.
When I came back to class after the MicroSIP install, I was able to complete the Square Store transaction with Michael over the Zoom call. I was still having computer issues with multitasking, so I may explore cleaning up my hard drive and/or giving my browsers some time to refresh and update without so many tabs open.
Those were the main activities today, and yesterday was the mock interview with Mechanics Bank (even though there was no corresponding blog post). I felt Mr. Richardson was extremely attentive, listening to my storytelling very carefully while giving me a generous amount of feedback. By the end of the interview, I was definitely worn out and tired of talking myself “up” but now that it’s over I felt it was good confidence building and practice.
