As it was my first day in this program, I went through an orientation and took a quiz to make sure I understand what was covered. Then I went into a breakout room with Jose for an additional orientation. We then began laying all of the foundational software I need to succeed in CTT like a separate Chrome profile, Homebase, Slack, WordPress, etc. It’s a lot but it’s to be expected of an onboarding. And now I’ve taken my first step to be on the same page with the rest of the team. Which, after thinking further, is a nice little learning experience/review. In a real workplace, not everyone is going to have the exact same first day. It’s very easy to fall into the trap of thinking it like school.
