Today we mainly worked further on the Computer Hardware lab. We also did our tech articles today as tomorrow is mock interviews. It was interesting learning about Chinese traffic robots, how the FBI was hacked by Shinyhunters, how AI is complicated the courts, and how AI is becoming better at ripping code from software to …

What I did today
Today we continued the Computer Hardware lab. For me Windows 10 and Ubuntu VMs are ready to go. Tomorrow if there’s time I can work on sideloading other operating systems onto the same VM. We also went over what happens when you boot up a computer: the POST (Power-On Self-Test) and BIOS/UEFI.
What I did today
Today we began work on a new lab looking into Computer Hardware. Though after the prelab this was mostly setting up a Windows 10 VM. But it was nice to work again on the remote desktop I have access to.
What I did today
Today was the first employment services of the new month. Which was weird because now its just three of us because half moved onto SJS last month. But it was still enjoyable and a safe space to mess up and learn. First we watched a video on Linkedin profiles (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qG4NF-2tt4c and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nRcbm1xCX7g). It was very …
Wait I did today
We went over our chosen tech articles for the week. Learning more about what makes up QR codes was interesting. And its unfortunate that the AI chip price boom will probably go on till at least 2028. And while privacy concerns regarding meta glasses are valid, so is the assistive abilities it could bring (especially …
What I did today
Today we went over Scratch, which is a cool program to create whatever we set our minds to. The animations look rudimentary but to make them really soar its surprisingly complex. On My Project it took me a while just to figure out how to get the character to turn around. But I could see …
What I Did Today
Today we went over some formulas (Present and the ability to split information between columns) to make managing data in sheets easier. Especially when they have something like 491 rows. Then we worked on an extension called Mail Merge which allows us to take the data in a spreadsheet and create a google doc template …
What I did Today
We’re back from a week off and into a new month, which is crazy. Even crazier was that it’s just us three CTT students as all the PRO students graduated. And there’s no newbies, which is kind of sad. But oh well. It allows things to be a little bit more streamlined and personable. Now …
What I did today
Employment services were fun today. We talked about handling work place arguments smartly that protects our jobs. Then we worked on document lab where I tried to wrangle some of my interview answers into STARS with real examples instead of academic treatises. And make it fit what I’d say instead of the medium of writing, …
What I did today
Today we presented on our tech articles. They were all very interesting. Though apparently my mic was pretty hot (it was a hot day so my air conditioning was on and I didn’t have proper noise cancellation on). So I apologize for that. Hopefully it wasn’t too grating. Now its on to closing ceremonies for …
