I had Employment Services time with Carrie today. I had to come in late, but I was happy to work a little bit on my resume and prepare my interview questions. I updated my Objective to something more in line with the special skills I have and the jobs I’m aiming to apply for. There’s plenty for me to do on my job related documents and mock interview prep, but showing up for practice definitely helps build my confidence.
This week in PRO training, we worked on Canva to make the CTP flyer and any presentation we wanted to make. My presentation evolved into an ice cream selling presentation. I felt like I could do a better job with communicating my ideas in the slides as well as during the presentation. Now the week is over, I’m looking forward to mock interviews next week as well as the Celebration on Thursday.
