Practiced typing for 15. We watched a video on how to give excellent customer service with the car rental company, which I enjoyed and learned from. Then we did the Individual Challenge V3. I’m very proud I was able to finish it. Of course, I have questions for tomorrow.

Today we learned about how only 20% of jobs are posted on the internet. Volunteering is such a helpful and positive thing to do to improve our chances for employment. We worked on our resumes. I need to streamline mine. We finished by practicing interview questions. Thank you, Carrie!

Today was mock interviews day with Delta Dental. I interviewed with Bindu and she was lovely. Great interviewer and mentioned for me to keep learning everything I can from CTP as I have strong customer service skills and must have strong computer skills to be a lobby ambassador aka receptionist with Delta Dental. Will do!

Practiced typing. Most of the time, we worked on a CTP Pro Customer Service and Administrative flyer. I am not done with mine. For the last hour, we set up MicroSip with Jose and his people. Overall, a good day.

Typing. Picked an event to invite classmates and instructors to on Google Calendar. We discussed Delta Dental will be our mock interview this week on Thursday. Also did my Sunshine Express employee file.

Class started with typing practice, as always. I got some help from Marc and Mike on the sheets project UCSF Nurse Wages Tables. We did Cash Out, practicing giving change to customers. I started on my accountability assignment, finding flyers, what you liked about them etc. We did Sunshine Express, practicing taking orders.

I opened a LinkedIn account. Gotta work on it. Carrie shared with us tips to improve it. We worked on interview questions, what type of work environment works best for us? What is my professional accomplishment I am most proud of? I enjoyed everyone’s answers.

Today was a very hard day for me. Typing was fine. I shared the elective I did. A slide show on otters! I love me some otters! We got a sheet assignment on UCSF clinical nurses’ wage table. I feel defeated. I am experiencing an internet connection problem. Sheets are the hardest thing for me …
