The Guest Service Representative creates a warm, welcoming environment for guests while delivering exceptional customer service and promoting delicious cake products. As the first point of contact, this role focuses on building positive guest experiences, assisting with orders, and ensuring a clean, organized bakery.
- Greet and assist guests in person and over the phone with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Provide product knowledge, recommend cake options, and suggest add-on items (candles, balloons, cards)
- Accurately process orders using the point-of-sale system
- Maintain bakery cleanliness, organization, and visual presentation
- Restock merchandise and assist with basic cake preparation and packaging
- Follow health, safety, and company policies
Qualifications:
- Must be 16 years or older
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented with a positive attitude
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills and comfort with technology/POS systems
- Previous customer service or retail experience is a plus
