What I Did Today
Today I started my final set of hours for AWEX and did onboarding with Carrie. During the meeting we discussed a new task, reviewed prior tasks, planned out my daily schedule, discussed an experimental check-in, and discussed an email for me to draft up and send out by Wednesday about suggested changes and/or documentation of associate task workflow, or rather a prompt for discussion of those things. I plan to work on that in the coming days so that I can start on it during my flexible hours. The rest of the day I submitted a job listing summary to CTP’s skill center page, updated my spreadsheet for tracking my hours, and finally got started on the new DEI task Carrie assigned to me. Although it was a shorter shift, I was able to start off comfortably without any hitches.

What I Did Today
I practiced my typing and I’m looking forward to my wireless keyboard because I feel like I type faster on that type of keyboard.
I put reminders on my calendar for my Accountability assignment
I turned in my elective assignment where I researched Mechanics Bank as if I was goin to interview there. I looked at the available jobs in my area to see if I would be qualified.
I reviewed the document that we created last week with Carrie about common interview questions to get ready for the mock interview tomorrow 2/12 – it just so happens to be with Mechanics Bank.
At the end of today, I put together my document where I’ll be answering the questions for the Accountability assignment. I will be able to re-read the information and complete the questions on Thursday before class and turn it in to pro.
What I Did Today
- First accommodation request talk (only cried a little!)
- — Wholeassing skillsoft too much. Take less granular notes
- — Watch at a higher speed (this helps more than I thought it would)
- — Start it at 4:20 in class (this worked today, though I was late starting it because the lab was so interesting)
- Lab
- — Got Teamviewer working! did not get a single question answered but it seems like we were rushed on this one because of mock interviews. 4 was a lofty lofty goal for 1.5 hours
- Troubleshooting Approach
- — took notes. want to know more about this. Scientific Method for troubleshooting basically
- I wonder what my typing speed is. I never learned “the right way”
