Today as an administrative associate I worked on finding job listings in IT Support. I was able to find three jobs that look promising. Today I was given my first task that was not job listings. I worked on finding company contact information for the DEI spreadsheet. I had some trouble finding the information since most companies seem to obscure it through multiple links on there websites. When I was stuck, I was able to use chatgpt to survey the internet for company contact emails.

We were meant to finish the the lab for the week on the imaging and back up. I did not end up finishing the project but will spend some extra time to get it done. Then we will have mock interviews tomorrow so i will do my prep tonight and be ready tomorow.

We started the day off with our tech. presentations which was interested

I then meet with Devin and Carrie for my monthly update interview.

during the class I contiued my Disk Image lab project. I was able to finish part two

I meet with Jose to record my audio for my Portfolio project

My check in with Devin and Carrie went really good. I got to be an employee and a customer in the online store for the point of sales training exercise. I did a little research on United business bank to get ready for tomorrow. Nervous about mock interviews tomorrow but I will try my best.

I started the day with typing practice for 15 minutes. We worked in pairs practicing being an office receptionist and enrolling people in a membership with Power of Wellness Fitness and then scheduling them for a message and then sending them a confirmation email and I sent my accountability assignment which was the reminder email.

I practiced typing on Pro 3 minute Test.

I practiced the employee and customer roles for POW fitness club.

I had a monthly conference with Davin and Carrie.

I had a conference with Mark about cheat sheets for Google Sheets and Slides functions and formulas.

I reviewed what we did today and my accountability.

Good day. Had an evaluation with Carrie and Devin.

Did a little mock customer/employee thing with POW.

Explored googling these interview questions.

Today had some things that were kinda new. Today was the 1st day of me posting my hours at the start of it. I learned that I shouldn’t include my 1st 100 hours when entering these hours, so for now on, I should say that I did 18 hours so far, not counting today (21 if I count today), not 118. I was able to work on the slides project a little more, It looks like its almost done so far.

Today, we had our monthly check-in with Devin and Carrie. During the session, we continued role playing the Power of Wellness appointment booking process, followed by a role-play exercise focus on taking customer ordering from POW store. On the third hour, we conducted research on United Business Bank and reviewed potential interview questions in preparation for upcoming mock interview tomorrow with United Business Bank.

In the first hour I practiced typing for 15 minutes, and then worked on adding job listings to the CTP WordPress site. In the second hour I worked on the emergency funds list, adding five listings in Santa Clara County. In the last hour I worked with Adam on the computer terms slide project.
