Today we went over different job search websites.
Our interview questions were:
Can you explain why you changed career paths?
Why is there a gap in your employment history?
What do you like least about your last job?
What should I know that is not on your resume?
well I got some great valuable interview answers today. and i did better than last time. still need improvement. I will watch some percipio to work on stumbling over my words
I looked at job search sites. Went back and forth between my resume and interview questions. Heard some very heart warming and inspirational stories from my classmates about their health journeys. Was not feeling good today but was still productive.
We did career services today, last hour was focused on interview questions and answers in a group environment. Which is still something that i am personally working on becoming more fluid at. Second hour was focused on working individually on something the student would like as long as it was career/job readiness. I worked the cover letter and polished off the great sounding cover letter. First hour was fixed on a career presentation which was very enlightening.

Today was employment services. We started off class learning how to do a job search. next i worked on my cover letter. then we went over interview questions and answers.
Today we had our weekly Employment services class. We started the day out my getting familiar with various job seeking sites other the Indeed , like Work force 50 or Caljobs.org.
I finish my first draft of my cover letter.
The last part of today’s class were practice interview question.
we started class with typing practice for 15 minutes. a few students spoke about their flyer assignment. then we learned how to create Folders and Nesting. for the rest of the class, we were given time to catch up on homework and take a course from Percipio.
I practiced typing for the class, then I presented my accountability project on “Flyer Research”. I did three of the flyers on the Human Touch Exhibition, Mental Health Awareness Month, and the 2026 Global Growth seminar. I said that my favorite flyer is the Mental Health Awareness Month because it resonates with my reality. Then the instructor went over the in-class work of creating folders and nesting them. I created the PRO folder nesting with the month folders, week folders, and homework and class materials folders. Afterwards, I started to do more of the Core Portfolio project by adding more pictures and then finished it with a recording so that I could present it.
