What I did today
I started my shift by finding and sharing 15 job postings and 2 job fairs. One of which is later this afternoon, if anyone wants to attend. Then I started transferring the food bank database to the CTP website. Probably transferred at least 50, gratifying that there are so many free food locations. Wrapped up my day researching and adding rehab facilities to the contact list.
What I did today
Today I was first working on the job listings. I search through and try to find the listings that will be appropriate for the students to apply to. I try to find ones with minimal qualifications and not much experience needed. Then I was working on the emergency food bank listing. The challenging part is to find the mission statement for the organization. Also, I try to make sure that all of the information is accurate and up to date, including the address and contact information.
