What I did Today

We learn how to use the virtual phone MircoSip. We perform a role play as if we were the employee for BerkMart and the customer. We learn how to Answer and Transfer a call

We did a independent Challenge I totally miss part two I did not realize there was more to it. The thrird part was on a spread sheet. I need more practice to remember how it works.

What I did Today?

Today we all did our usual typing practice, and then we went over the Micro Sip teaming up with one or two people, going through the scenarios with the Berkmart phone script. Lastly, we did our independent challenge. I felt like I might have done a bit better, but the sheets part of the challenge was a bit of brainwork.

What I did Today

Today I practiced Customer Phone Service responses as both Caller and Receiver, learning how to put people on “hold” or “transfer” them to others. It was a relatively simple class, and doing the Independent Challenges wasn’t difficult at all except for an odd problem with not being able to insert the Table of Contents into the Google Document even though I know how to do so but the option wasn’t there for me to do so no matter what I tried. I look forward to these small challenges as it’s pretty fun to be put to the test on what we know and learned.

What I Did Today

For the first hour I researched job listings to post on CTP website. My focus was on “Administrative Assistant” posts in the Sacramento area.

I then moved on to the Emergency Housing project where I focused on counties in far Norther California and right up to the Oregon border (Del Norte, Siskiyou, Trinity, Modoc and Shasta).

And with Carrie’s approval, I logged out of AWEX for an hour to take a last minute ZOOM call regarding a job opportunity. It went well and sounds like I’ll be called back for an in-person interview.
