What I did today…
Welcome to Wednesday. Today we started with our typing practice. Slowly, inch by inch I seem to be typing just a bit faster which is a nice surprise; practice makes it better. We continued working in the POW store practicing taking orders, receiving them, and confirming as a class. We had our monthly check-ins. Concluded our time working on a Skillsoft lesson. Good day, and have a wonderful evening.
What I Did Today
Today I started with some job postings, and then moved on to the ERG project. Unfortunately I didn’t get a lot of work done on it, I decided to apply for one of the jobs I posted and the application process turned out to be MUCH more involved then I anticipated. If nothing else, today was a good lesson on time management and cutting your losses when something is taking too long. I’ll do better tomorrow, I’m sure of it!
What I Did Today
Today, I practiced being an employee and customer at the POW store. During the scenario, we had a real-life situation where an item was out of stock and the customer couldn’t purchase water. Later, I had my check-in meeting with Carrie and Devin. I also worked on some SkillSoft today.
What I did today
Today I did a check in with Devin and Carrie, I also finished the second part of my drive imaging lab.
What I did today
Today I started on the advanced lab and updated my ticket. I had a check-in with Carrie and Devin, which went well. I am starting to see what I need to work on most, and right now I need to work on asking for help more when I get stumped. I was able to run clonezilla today because I asked for help from my peers and the instructor.
What I did today
Today, I managed to get some more work done for the pre-lab portion as finishing touches after having completed the rest of Lab 1. Then, I got started on the Advanced Lab proper, and got started on the pre-lab segments of that as well.
I wasn’t very productive today. I got very sleepy a quarter into the session, and was barely able to maintain focus.
After a while, I was pulled into the monthly check-in, and was asked how my experience with the program was going so far. I relayed that I was struggling with the SkillShare homework, and that my dental issues were eating some time. Aside from those, I think I have been doing well.
What I Did Today
I worked posting jobs on the C.T.P. job board for the wonderful clients in support of finding a job they will love. I posted a couple in Napa County today and other locations.
What I Did Today
Today we mostly worked on using Clonezilla to make images of our virtual machine hard drives. its a very similar process to Acronis True Image. I also did my third monthly checkin with Devin and Carrie, it was very rewarding to hear how well I have done in the program.
