Here is a full time, entry level IT support position in Folsom California. This is an entry level position for people wanting to get into IT but have little to no experience. You will be answering phone calls or emails to various tech related problems that need trouble shooting. The position requires that you are knowable of current and future tech while being proficient in trouble shooting and customer service.

The Pay is anywhere between: $18-$22 an hour on a full time schedule (40hours a week)

I reviewed the CX3 system and how to do the transfers. I did the independent challenge. Had trouble with the spreadsheet. Took me the whole time just to set up the spreadsheet!

Today, I tackled my independent challenge using Google Sheets and Docs. It felt great to reinforce and apply what I’ve learned.

I did the challenge, didnt do well with the spreadsheet though. Enjoyed my day anyway.

Today we started by reviewing the 3cx phone system and how it works. We then worked on the Independent challenge for the rest of the day

Today I did another independent challenge. I feel like I’ve improved this time especially with google sheets. I wasn’t sure how to insert colors, but I will do some practice with that throughout the week. Overall, it has been a productive day.

Today I got to work on a challenge assignment. The first 2 were easy until I reached the google sheets. I need to work more on formulas.

Here is an entry level, full time IT position in Ukiah from the Mendocino College school district. Travel is possible in the Ukiah area. You will take phone calls to give tech support to the college district to assist the computer systems, you will mostly get IT support calls from the computer labs and perform tech support to staff and students. You will monitor each compute remotely to make sure there are no viruses and to make sure software is up to date.

The Pay is $27.90 and hour

8/23/24 What I Did Today

I worked on my linked in profile and practiced with interview questions. I did not have to rely on notes as I did in the past to answer the questions. I seem to be more self-condient, Carrie provided me with a good answer for what my weaknesses are.
