Hello. Today I was in Employment Services. We went over a list of employment sites. I learned about places to look for work that I didn’t know of. That will be very helpful. I worked on completing my resume. I am not done yet, but getting there. And we discussed examples of work conflicts that we could share in an interview.

What I Did Today

Today we looked at alternative job search sites other than Indeed, and several of them were more specialized for spefici types of jobs or specific formats, which I really appreciated. I am interested in a couple of the paid services for which I can probably get help through my DOR counselor. I also learned to search on some other sites as well, and the differences in the search fields as well as the settings and layout. Then I spent some time tying up loose ends with my resume, and working on my LinkedIn profile some more. Finally we did interview practice, specifically about conflicts we’ve had at work. I think I find that very helpful because it forces me to think of specific examples of conflicts which is hard for me, but interviewers really appreciate. I hope to be able to write down more examples as I practice more.
