Wednesday, May 8

Hello. Here is what I learned. I enter data slow. It would be good far me to practice more so I can speed up. I worked on my registration form and attendees list. I didn’t get through entering the attendees list. Tomorrow is another day.

What I did today

I posted remote work-from-home job positions on the CTP job board for administrative assistance/customer service. I also met with Carrie for my weekly check-in and worked on a new assignment with her. That I will hopefully be starting tomorrow.

What I Did Today

Today we worked on a fictitious attendee registration form for an investor conference for BerkMart. We then entered the information from a doc about attendee registration info into a Google Sheet and used formulas to sort and tally the data for counts needed for planning the event. We used the =countif() formula to count instances of a particular text string in a data column.

What I Did Today

At the beginning of class, we practiced typing. I am working on typing without looking and couldn’t get through a test…. Normally, I type like I’m playing a piano, but I think I might get faster if I learn touch typing. We also worked through more of the BerkMart Event Registration forms and Attendee List/Registration and Flight Tracking for attendees.

What I Did Today

Today I got back into the swing of things with my second term as an intern! After doing re-orientation with Carrie, I posted three job links for the students, and then reviewed the next project I’ll be participating in, the Second Chance Research project. I look forward to getting into it tomorrow!
