— Skillsoft improved but is still my weak point. I feel like I’m very aware of this and trying to balance actually digesting the content in a way that will continue to serve me and Just Getting It Done. Specifically I think that I’m doing well enough in everything else that it’s not the worst tradeoff if I’m only mediocre in the metric for skillsoft, given that the aim here is to teach me things that will continue to serve me.

What I Did Today

I hit my fastest typing speed to day – 64wpm! And I’m very happy about that.

I met with Devin and Carrie to review my progress for the month and I’m happy with where I’m at and look forward to the last month and half of PRO class at CTP.

I made a flyer promoting CTP – PRO classes for Administrative Support and Customer Service.

What I did today

Today we continued working on the networking lab. We learned the command for how to look up the DNS of a website, which is nslookup “website name”. We learned the commands for how to traceroute to a website by the command tracert “website name” on Windows command prompt, and traceroute “website name” on Linux after installing the command. We did our core service check-in.

What I did today

Started off with onboarding with Carrie, learned about the structure of an Awex day and the starting tasks. Signed up for and logged into Telegram. Posted some job listings to the CTP WordPress site. Finished up by working on the Food Bank listings spreadsheet, added a few food banks for San Benito County.
