Under supervision, this role provides reasonable accommodation and direct support to employees with disabilities, helping them perform essential job functions and fully participate in workplace activities. Duties include reading and formatting documents, assisting with written work, coordinating accessible materials (including braille), and ensuring access to digital and visual information.
- Provide reading, writing, and document accessibility support (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Assist with clerical tasks such as filing, scheduling, note-taking, and document preparation.
- Support communication by describing visual content and facilitating access to meetings and trainings (including virtual platforms).
- Perform messenger duties (delivering and organizing materials).
- Transport and accompany employees to work-related events and appointments as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and adherence to accommodation guidelines.
