Desktop Support Technician Dacaro Software Services Inc. San Francisco, CA Contract

We are looking for a hands-on Desktop Support Technician to support laptop refresh projects and day-to-day IT needs across multiple client sites. This role involves traveling to client locations to deploy, configure, and support end-user devices while ensuring a smooth and professional user experience.

  • Deploy and configure laptops, monitors, docking stations, and peripherals
  • Perform device replacements and laptop refresh activities
  • Migrate user data and set up access to applications, email, and network resources
  • Provide on-site support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues
  • Troubleshoot Windows OS, printers, and basic networking problems
  • Install and configure standard corporate applications
  • Track assets and maintain accurate deployment records
  • Deliver excellent customer service and minimize user disruption

Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of desktop/IT support experience (NOT REQUIRED)
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office
  • Experience with hardware setup and deployment projects
  • Basic networking and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication and time management abilities
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Microsoft Intune, SCCM, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365
