Today I didn’t have much on the schedule besides the Canva presentation project. Of course, I spent about 15 minutes of typing practice when I started the afternoon.
Yesterday, I chose to do my Canva presentation on “How to Sell Ice Cream” and I did a little more research today into how franchise opportunities work to better inform the presentation. This was a fun activity, comparing the history of financials between Baskin Robbins, Coldstone, and Jeni’s Ice Cream.
The template came preloaded with images of delicious ice cream and consumers of ice cream, so it was a challenge to put together my fresh take. That’s mostly what I worked on today. The important part of the project was feeling more comfortable with the Canva application. Even though the end result is similar to Google Slides or Powerpoint, I learned how to use Canva to animate the slides, resize the text boxes, add pictures, and change layout with the practice I did today.
