I clocked-in to Homebase. We reviewed BIOS Exploration presentations and the lab instructions. I worked with Carrie for our check-in.

I clocked-in to Homebase. We continued the lab from yesterday, I completed the installation of Windows. I came across a common problem, the GRUB bootloader was not loading. I will be testing the solution I researched and copied in my ticket.

I clocked-in with Homebase. We reviewed and completed the pre-lab. Then we reviewed the goal of the Lab: creating a VM and adding multiple OSs. I created my VM and installed Bodhi, Ubuntu, and Manjaro. I had difficulty installing Manjaro which took up a lot of time.

We started the Computer Hardware project on a new ticket. We started with the pre-lab which included some questions and terms to learn. Then we continued with a benchmark test in Percipio and I got 8 incorrect out of 28 but a couple of the questions were tricky.

I clocked-in to Homebase. Today we watched a presentation on job scams and how to spot them. Then we worked on conflict management skills; looked at a couple scenarios where conflict was present and discussed them in our group. Then we did lab work, and I focused on my interview Q&A. We learned about note-taking tips: types of learners-Auditory, Physical, and Visual. Keeping notes organized using formatting and different methods like mind maps, workflow charts. Today I clocked-in to Homebase. I finished my google slides project then presented it to the group. We learned about converting it to a video using AI where it can also automatically create a narration over the slides. We also practiced creating a mail merged letter.

Clocked-in to Homebase. Completed the type practice. We reviewed the progress reporting (monthly) which is due Thursday. Today we reviewed keyboard shortcuts. We also created a Google slides presentation for a company called Power of Wellness (POW).

Today we watched Devin’s presentation on applying to jobs then look at different job websites on the job log. I created an account for a few sites and discovered old accounts.
