The Call Center Representative is responsible for scheduling appointments using approved templates and verifying insurance coverage or payment methods while ensuring patients are notified of any eligibility issues. The role includes entering accurate patient information into the EHR system, updating demographics and consent forms, correcting data errors, and assisting patients with health insurance programs such as Medi-Cal and Medicare. Representatives follow up on after-hours messages to reschedule or cancel appointments promptly, maintain compliance with HIPAA and other state and federal regulations, and actively participate in quality improvement initiatives. They demonstrate professionalism and teamwork when interacting with supervisors, colleagues, patients, and the community while completing additional duties as assigned.
Listed pay is $21 to $23 an hour.
