Jose helped set up our Microsip phone line. For the rest of the class, we worked on our elective project with Marc and Mike.

Today I practiced and called a number and put to use the calling skills that was shown to me. Then I worked on the lab for Project Inception. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to finish Phase 5 as I’d hope to do, but I will try again in the future.

Today we practiced typing and then I did a project on pretending I’m a BerkMart employee, calling and finding out about the new product that is going to be sold, how much would be the wholesale price for the shipment of the new product, what the price will be sold in stores, and the delivery …

well, another day down another good day. Did a lot of stuff in class today that’s going to prepare me for an interview. I have tomorrow. No matter what happens. I just feel so much better having taken this course CTP program. I am much better off having done it………Grateful.

Started the day off with typing skills tests. Then we worked with the phone system microsip. making mock customer service calls. The remainder of class i worked on my slideshow/portfolio.

I began my day researching some administrative roles to post on the skill center. I spent some time corresponding with my DOR counselor, sending emails and calling. I continued working on the slides networking presentation.

For the first hour I worked on job listings. This time I used Zip Recruiter and focused on Administrative Assistant in the East Bay. It seemed to me that Zip didn’t have near the amount of job listings as Indeed has had. For tomorrow I will stay on Zip and work on the filtering to …
