Started class off with typing skills tests. For a majority of the remainder of the class duration, i worked on my portfolio project/slideshow.

Today I researched administrative jobs and posted them on the skill center. I called my DOR counselor and we collaborated on writing a letter. I worked on the networks slides presentation the rest of the day.

After our usual typing practice, we spent the entire class working on our elective assignment. I think Marc is incredibly patient when answering questions and responds to complaints/concerns with genuine empathy.

Today I spent the first hour looking at job listings. Like yesterday, I looked at Zip Recruiter exclusively focusing on Customer Service positions in the East Bay. Again, and maybe it’s because I’m not used to Zip Recruiter’s layout, I didn’t come across a whole lot of jobs that meet the criteria I’m looking for. …

– Practiced typing to increase productivity. – Found and posted job listings relevant to program participants’ skills and jobseeking goals. – Met with teammates to touch base and anticipate upcoming assignments. – Researched and collated contact information for business outreach to seek partnerships.

Today I did some new work helping CTT with their slides, I think I did well with my idea hopefully it is a good one.

Today as a combime class we had a phone assignment where we are a employee for BerkMart. We virtual called a Regional manager to find out information on a new product the store will carry. I worked on homework till it was my turn to call. The last part of the class was an introduction …

We downloaded the phone app for the course practice. We also worked on the elective, which is due Thursday.

We started out downloading the voip phones that we are using for customer service practice calling. we joined back into the CTT class and worked on project inception and started phase 3 of the project. From there we went on to a basics of networking presentation and clarified some things i was questioning.
