Yesterday, we had mock interviews with Mechanics Bank. I got plenty of good feedback for putting in the effort, but I need to make my responses more personable, and I should “relax and be myself”. It’s a general problem feeling prepared and improvising the answers.
Today in ES class, we went through searching for volunteer opportunities on Idealist.org. I went looking for basic Salesforce Admin jobs that I could take my CRM knowledge and improve my career positioning. The two organizations I found were Army Pink and ILevelUP.
Finally, we did some more interview Q&A preparation, where I immediately refreshed my answers and used some of the feedback to edit my responses. In the future, I think improving my recent work history combined with getting the interview practice will lead to better opportunities, unpaid or paid.
