Today I started out with some job postings for the students, and then transitioned to working on the Dress for Success update project. I created some mockup slides that I will show to Carrie on Wednesday, which hopefully she will approve and I can build into the slideshow. A good day’s work!

Today, we had orientation for a new participant and practiced where to find our keyboard shortcut. I am still working on my monthly email evaluation.

I completed my monthly email evaluation. I am now working toward my Accountability Assignment. We had a mini quiz, where the class had to tell the instructor what shortcuts were for the specific tasks. It was fun. I will continue with my typing skills.

I did an orientation. I learned how to signup for homebase. I learned how to clock in and out of homebase. I got to explore the assignment tracker.

Typing, Soft Skills, Shortcuts on Windows and Google Docs, orientation to Pro, and Email posting.

Today we went over orientation for the Pro course for those new to the program. We also went over Windows shortcuts for a short amount of time. I also worked on my monthly update email as well as worked on Skillsoft assignments.

Today I revisited the Keyboard short cuts from Boot camp. Looks like there will be a review for keyboard shortcuts tomorrow. I also read over the accountability assignment and the email assignment.

I did the typing test. I typed 35 wpm. I also reviewed keystroke shortcuts. I almost completed my slide show for the POW exercise website.

Today we had an orientation for new students in Core Training. I enjoyed seeing new faces but we didn’t have a chance for introductions yet.
