I had an interview with Carrie and we discussed different points regarding mu ultimate goal. We looked back to Google Docs and reviewed a couple of things. Working on Google Doc Formatting Project, I got to understand table of contents. I practiced typing as well.

Today I came in late because I had some important appointments. I did some google docs formating and proofreading. I also did some Skillsoft on computer networking concepts.

I created a new Google profile and logged in with my Gmail account, then continued creating the other Google apps and added them to my bookmarks. I also added extensions. I was able to watch a Skillsoft training video at the end of the class.

Today, we set up the Google Chrome bookmarks and extensions. Then, we set up accounts for Homebase, Slack, and WordPress.

Today we reviewed the common links that need to be saved on the bookmark bar. We also created new Word Press accounts and learned how to create new posts to the CTP website.

Today was all about making connections! I spent the morning posting jobs on the CTP website with some great new job opportunities—I love being able to share leads that help our participants level up. Even though a Zoom login issue tried to slow me down. We fixed it, and I’m ready to hit the ground running tomorrow. …

Today I went to orientation. I also did an email on how to keep track of assignments and deadlines. I also got a new password so that I can blog.

Today was the first day of the month, so we did the monthly orientation and got everyone set up with what they need for the upcoming month. Today we also did the meeting deadlines assignment. My top 3 reminder tools are: Google calendar, post-its, and alarms.

I filled out a questionnaire about the mission of CTP and a few basic rules, then got scored. Our instructor advised us of attendance policies. We got more familiar with the main website, particularly the assignments. We worked on a couple of assignments and shared them with the instructor.

Today I started the portfolio. I also wrote my professional email that’s a monthly occurrence. Besides seeing new faces nothing new happened.
