HiJenny.ai is an AI-powered home services startup connecting homeowners with vetted vendors through an intelligent matching platform. Consumer Engagement Reps serve as the human side of the AI — engaging directly with homeowners at events, gathering project information, and helping improve the company’s matching engine through real-world conversations and lead generation.
- Represent HiJenny.ai at farmers markets, festivals, home shows, and community events across the Bay Area
- Start conversations with homeowners about home improvement projects
- Use the HiJenny app to create homeowner project profiles on-site
- Gather high-quality customer insights that help improve the AI matching system
- Maintain a professional, energetic brand presence during all shifts
- Adapt quickly in fast-paced event environments and provide excellent customer interaction
Ideal Candidate
- Strong people skills and comfortable talking to strangers all day
- Interested in AI, startups, and consumer technology
- Able to stand and work 6–8 hour event shifts
- Reliable transportation throughout the Bay Area (East Bay, Peninsula, South Bay)
- Background in retail, hospitality, sales, real estate, field marketing, promotions, or customer-facing roles preferred
- Prior brand ambassador or event marketing experience is a plus
- Must be 18+ and authorized to work in the U.S.
- Entry point into the AI/startup industry without a CS degree
- Hands-on exposure to how AI products improve using real user interactions
- Flexible event-based work environment
