Cycles of Change is looking for a part-time Internship Coordinator to run its youth internship programs in Oakland. This on-site role helps young people build practical skills in bicycle mechanics, getting around by bike and public transit, leadership, and day-to-day work in a community bike shop.
The coordinator will bring in new youth participants and support them during their internships, shape and update program lessons, organize schedules and logistics, and keep accurate records of attendance and program results. The role also involves working closely with Bike Club staff and the Operations Generalist, supporting other program staff, and helping with program reporting.
Programs take place during the school year, include a winter bike build, and continue through the summer. The position is about 8 to 12 hours per week.
Pay: $30.78 per hour.
To apply, please send a resume and cover letter to [email protected].
