What I did today

typing, people’s blog set-ups and fix these letter assignments. My biggest take away is that I don’t do well with something I haven’t been taught and I have to find a way to fix it. I get so frustrated that I want to cry and my confidence level goes way down. Today was not a good day for me. It was most helpful that Jose went over this assignment at the end of the class

What I Did Today

I practiced my typing and finally broke into 60wpm with 97% accuracy.

I worked “Fix the Letters” assignment and my biggest struggle was with the letter that needed the line spacing fixed. It took me a while to figure it out.

I shared my “Sunshine Cover Letter” assignment starting with finding a job match for me on Indeed.com. Like resume writing, I’ve always struggled with cover letters and I intend to work on this more in the future.

What I Did Today

Today I began by finding and posting job listings to CTP’s skill center page. I found one job which was a remote position that was viable for graduates. Next, I spent some time on looking for CTP alumni on LinkedIn, but didn’t have much success. After that, I cross-checked the DEI watch list to see if there were any new companies in the committed section to add to the spreadsheet, and actually found a few. Going into the next hour, I began my usual study hour with a CTP participate. I made sure to monitor how well they were able to stay focused, but I was also focused on my work. During this time, I researched the rehabilitation centers that were on the outreach spreadsheet for contact links, and crossed them out if they were viable. In my remaining hour, I went back to DEI research, this time working on adding contact information to the sheet.
