worked on company research for mock interviews, worked on resume and practice interview questions.

What we did today was start off with a company research exercise, which involves the company we’ll be holding mock interviews with in the next week. Next, I worked on my interview questions and brushed up a few of them, especially my ‘Tell me about yourself’ question. Finally, we did our interview practice, and I do feel like I’m getting better at that type of practice.

Today for employment services, we went over the class schedule and what to expect for every Friday for the new classmates joining us this month, and conducted some research on Poppy Bank, our mock interview guests showing up on Wednesday. We worked on our professional documents and focused my attention on filling out more of the interview questions and expanding on my answers. Near the end of the session, we did some interview practice and wrapped up for the day with a self-assessment.

I found 1 job listings for the CTP website in my 1st hour. Afterward, I searched for new entries for the emergency food list. I was told some news about the AWEX, and how it won’t pay after my 2nd round. I will probably resign afterward.

Girl Scout Cookies Google Sheet Exercise

Today I finished my Girl Scout Cookies spread sheet. I also finished my Letters. I am 70% finished with my Work Accountability assignment

I did my Accountability Assignment. Then I did Percipio. I tried and tried to get 80% on Google Slides but it just wasn’t in the cards. Then I found the Google Docs page and I’m working on that now. Very good stuff.

Today, we started with our 15 minutes of typing. I then spent a lot of the class day finishing the formatting on my Girl Scout Cookies Google Sheet exercise, including adding pictures of the different cookies, coordinating those cookie cells to match their respective box colors, and added borders to my spreadsheet. Afterwards, I got in some early Percipio Skillsoft time for next week.

Today we had open work time to finish any lingering assignments from the week, like the Girl Scouts sheets practice, Workplace Accountability article and questions, or the Fix these letters formatting assignment. I had already completed those, so after I finished my typing practice at the start of class, I watched through and completed four different CSR Journey Percipio courses on listening, goal setting and time management, and started another course. I took some notes on some of the suggested ways of setting and prioritizing goals based on importance and urgency, and making sure my goals are specific, measurable, achievable, and have a set timeframe to complete them.
