What I did today

Today Jose explained all the immediate basics to get started with Google Sheets. I started and expect to complete (Girl Scout Cookies) assignment by Thurs, Sept 4th. The homework assignments were explained (to me) where to find them and when they due. Mike gave an extra day to complete (Friday Sept 5th) Workplace Accountability.

What I Did Today

Today, we did typing practice to start out. I actually broke a previous record of mine on that particular typing test by having 85wpm with 97% accuracy with the higher accuracy being what changed. Next, we did an overview of Google Sheets where we went over the basics, formulas, and other forms of formatting. After that, we did a Google Sheets exercise involving calculating sales and other amounts for Girl Scout Cookie customer orders. I also did the extra credit on calculating the 20% overage for calculating how much extra boxes for future sales can be counted on. Lastly, we shared our Tech Articles, and I shared one that was about a Japanese space companies using scrap from rocket and satellite parts along with some natural minerals to make HiFi (short for high fidelity) audio speakers and a known DJ used natural sounds to make a 20+ minute song to play on said speakers. I just thought it was a cool story about parts from nifty space tech could be used to construct something just about all of us use.

What I did today

Today we started with typing practice, then reviewed Google Sheets, and completed a practice sheet on Girl Scout cookie orders. We also got clarification on what we needed to turn in for our weekly Percipio reports, and for the Workplace Accountability doc we looked over yesterday that’s due later this week. I had some extra time today, so I finished one Percipio course and started another — I’m going through the bundle of courses for the CSR Journey right now.

What I Did Today

Today we briefly worked on the assignment from yesterday, the core fixing letters assignment for those beside myself that didn’t finish and overviewed the basic features and utilities of google sheets, which included formatting sheet pages and formulas that will be relevant to complete the Girl Scout Cookies Google Sheet Exercise. I spent some spare class time working in percipio and also working on the accountability assignment.

What I Did Today!

What I did today is I listened to the new people who came in. It was a good tool for comparing what I think I know with what I do know. Then I started doing, and I am still on, the Fix These Letters assignment.

What I Did Today

Today I started by warming up with some typing practice. After the first 15 minuets we learned about using Google Sheets with a quick presentation. I then began my work on my Girl Scout Cookies google sheets excercise. To wrap the day up we shared our tech articles.
