What I Did Today

Most of my day was the task I do normally on AWEX. However, I was told about a task I will do in the future where I help out with the other CTP participants by helping them with mock phone calls. My last hour was setting up the phone system that we will use when the time comes.

What I did Today?

Today we went over the database of the employee manual with someone pretending to be the employee, trying to assist a customer in signing up for a fitness membership or getting a massage service. Then sending the confirmation email letting the customer know about the appointment. We also went over downloading the MicroSip program that provides the phone service on Mac or Windows.

What I Did Today

I practiced my typing and it was off today. That’s what usually happens on Monday – first day back in class. It gets better by the end of the week.

I started working on the Accountability assignment for this week – setting up POW Memberships and sending confirmation emails. We’ll be working more on that tomorrow.

I worked on MicroSIP – our new phone system. I got my account, domain, and password set up and now have all extensions to input tomorrow.

What I did today

In the first hour I worked on adding job listings to the CTP website, focusing on the San Jose area. In the second hour I continued work on the emergency food list, adding some listings for Los Angeles County. In the third hour I participated in the orientation for the MicroSIP phone software.
